Inspirations by Grace LaJoy, LLC is a writing ministry founded by Dr. Grace LaJoy Henderson in 1998. With just five (5) laminated poetry posters, Grace LaJoy began selling her poems. Eventually, she had produced twenty (20) laminated posters, at which time she had her first website built in order to make her inspirational writings available to the world.
In 2004, Grace LaJoy published her own first book entitled More Than Mere Words: Poetry That Ministers! and added it to the website. Due to other writers asking, "How did you publish your book?" and voicing their desire to know more about publishing their own writings, Grace LaJoy published her second book entitled Writers Breakthrough: Steps to Copyright and Publish Your Own Book.
Seeing the need for every gifted writer to know something about what to do with their writings, Grace LaJoy began conducting Writers Breakthrough workshops. During these workshops she encourages writers to utilize the writing gift that God has given them and instructs them about HOW to use their writing gift. She also makes her books available for purchase before, during, or after these workshops.
In 2007, Inspirations by Grace LaJoy, LLC became also known as IGL Publishing. Today, the company has become known as a ministry designed to inspire, educate, and empower through books, resources, consultations, workshops, speaking, poetry, and songwriting.
